A month after it was launched, the Fit Family Triathlon Team training program is receiving praises from its participants, according to a survey by Endurance --a Sports and Psychology Center. The center, which is conducting the training, asked the participants three questions.
What are the best things about the Fit Family program?
Amada, Parent: Spending time with my son.
Wendy, sibling: Being able to bike with my family.
Patricia, Parent: My family likes doing more exercise than before.
Zachary, Sibling: Great way to work your body and push yourself to succeed.
Zachary, Sibling: It’s a great atmosphere of people. The workouts are great.
Mike, Parent: It has the whole family’s interest.
Christine, Parent: Actually getting out and being active with and for my kids and myself. The organized aspects are very helpful!!!.
What have you learned about yourself and your family?
Nancy, 12: I can reach my goals.
Alicia, Parent: We can achieve more things.
Angel, 11: We can do more exercise.
Elizabeth, 14: That we need to exercise more.
Amada, Parent: That I can do more exercise with my son.
Stephanie, 13: We are able to exercise longer and do more.
Zachary, sibling: We’re really big on working out and we communicate well.
Mike, Parent: There are a lot of easy, fun activities that we can all do.
Chris, 11: That we can all eat better and exercise.
Wendy, sibling: That we enjoy doing exercise together.
What are you doing differently since joining our program?
Nancy, 12: Eating healthier.
Chris, 11: I try very hard.
Elizabeth, 14: I am eating a little bit less and drinking a lot of water.
Irvin, 13: Pushing myself to do my best.
Irvin, 13: I’m eating more fruit and less portions.
Christine, Parent: Planning things and trying to up the commitment.
