He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2011 from the California School of Professional Psychology, with a focus on multicultural identity exploration among college students.
Dr. Blum practices an integrative approach to wellbeing, incorporating both cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques. Additionally, he is passionate about helping people reach their peak performance by improving their sleep behavior. He provides sleep coaching at UC Berkeley’s sleep clinic and received training at Stanford’s School of Sleep Medicine.
As a transracial Korean-adoptee, Dr. Blum draws extensively on his training in multicultural psychology to help clients feel understood and empowered in their lives. Dr. Blum’s areas of specialty are: working with college students, identity development, adoptees, depression, anxiety, psychological assessments, sleep issues and insomnia.
In his spare time, Dr. Blum is an avid soccer and guitar player.
