Dear Endurance members,
Happy New Year to all you wonderful families! I hope your holidays have been a time of peace, joy and reflection and that you’ve managed to stay active and healthy throughout the season.
As the New Year approaches, please take some time to reflect on what you’ve accomplished this year and on the ways you want to improve your family’s health in 2011. Hopefully, helping your child lose weight, improve their confidence and boost their social connections are part of these goals. We hope we can support you in reaching these important goals in 2011.
Endurance offices will be closed from January 6th, 2011 – January 31st, 2011. When we return, we’ll be ready, refreshed and excited to spend the New Year with you. I am thrilled that we’ve accomplished so much in 2010 with organizing and hosting a successful youth triathlon, training over forty young people (ages 5-16) to swim, bike, run and have fun while doing it all. We’ve taken over 75 youth on our beautiful mountain
biking trips and we’ve counseled and consulted with hundreds of families who are on the path to losing weight and improving their health. Our youth participants have lost weight, but more importantly they learned that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to while enjoying the process! It’s been a lovely and full year.
Keep an eye out for our 2011 Fit Family Programs starting in February 2011. We have a line up of exciting active programs for children, as well as parent support and guidance in helping your child lose weight in a sustainable, healthy, positive way.
Look out for our FREE* informational session coming in February for families who want to join our programs! For now, browse our site, become a member (if you aren’t already), listen to our free teleseminar, write some goals, and begin making small changes before we see you in February.
